The ‘Hydraulics concept store’ originated in 1993 and today boasts eight upmarket multi-label stores

The Hydraulics brand holds stores in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, Eastgate shopping mall, Gateway Theatre of shopping, Mall of Africa, V&A Waterfront Mall and 2 stores in Sandton City that are each unique concepts; Hydraulics WEARETHEFUTURE; which is a luxury streetwear project and Hydraulics AVANTGARDE which is a pure Luxury Concept. New to the Hydraulics family are our Hydraulics Femme stores, a space for ladies only luxury brands with a feminine and luxurious feel.

The online store has been created on WordPress and WooCommerce framework. All products and stock quantities are synced from Lightspeed, Hydraulics’ electronic point of sale (ePOS) and payments system of choice. Lightspeed run in the physical stores as the main ePOS and aggregates all the business stock quantities to the online store.

When a customer order is placed PUSH will import the orders for processing. The admin will verify the customer’s physical address for shipping using the Google Map API. The admin will select the order items from the physical store that have stock on-hand. The Google Map API will also provide the admin with the nears physical store to the customer to reduce the shipping fee. When the shipment is created the stock is moved in Lightspeed and the individual stores will pack the item(s) allocated to them. When packed, PUSH will create the Courier Guy waybill and action collection for final customer delivery. As the order moves status, the customer’s order is updated in their WooCommerce profile.

Other features in PUSH include order issue reporting. Each store is also able to report an item or more which will reverser any stock in Lightspeed.
