Handy Garments (Seven Tigers) is a well known reputable clothing supplier for OVER 50 YEARS and has become a household name to the South African clothing industry. Situated in Selby, HemispherePark, we specialise in the supply T-Shirts, Golf Shirts, Corporate and Promotional wear, as well as workwear, etc. Large volumes of stock are maintained, thereby ensuring rapid distribution and ultimately greater customer satisfaction.
Technology
Built on the RemoteShop framework. This project is built using the latest in JavaScript technology. The frontend is built using ReactJS and SailsJS for the backend. The API layer connects to Sage/Pastel via the Letsap Connector. Some of the data is synchronised to a local MongoDB storage for fast data processing, other data like prices and stock quantity is displayed live.
How it works
The Handy Garments website allows anyone to view the product catalogue which syncs to Sage/Pastel and will display if the items are in stock, low in stock or out of stock. Anyone can fill their cart and complete a short form to request a quote from one of the four stores. The account customer will login and select a store. The selected store catalogue will display the customer’s account pricing and stock levels. In the Profile section they are able to see quotes, open orders and invoices. The account customer is able to place order directly into Sage/Pastel.
