In-store Representatives – How it works
Window World has staff members stationed within The Foshini Group stores. These staff members are able to trade directly from the store and offer three different type of services:
DIY – Off the store shelf, pay and walkout with the product.
CTO – Cut to measure. place your order with measurements, pay now and collect in store when ready.
MTM – Made to measure, make your selection from samples and physical catalogues, add custom measurements, pay now and the call center agent will contact the customer for installation.
Account holders – How it works
Window World customer account portal is a turnkey e-commerce plugin for Syspro. Customers and sales representatives can login and view their catalogue with contract pricing. The system has category, brands, promotion and keyword catalogue filtering to make fast ordering a possibility. The orders are directly placed into Syspro if the customer’s order is within their credit limit. The customer has complete account visibility as the orders are created and processed.
Technology
Built on the RemoteShop framework using the latest in JavaScript technology. The frontend uses ReactJS and SailsJS for the backend. The API layer connects to Syspro via direct MS SQL commands and Syspro’s built-in business objects. The data is synchronised to a local MongoDB storage for fast data processing and on some occasions the data is queried live.
